Myranda Agnew
Executive Director
Myranda Agnew serves as the Executive Director of the United Way of Leavenworth County, where she is dedicated to bringing people, organizations, and resources together to create lasting change across the community. Since joining United Way in 2026, she has focused on strengthening partnerships, increasing community engagement, and expanding opportunities for every person in Leavenworth County to thrive.
Before joining United Way, Myranda served as Regional Coordinator for the Kansas Statewide Homeless Coalition and as Executive Director of the Leavenworth Interfaith Community of Hope, leading collaborative efforts to address homelessness, strengthen nonprofit partnerships, and advocate for sustainable community solutions.
Myranda holds a Bachelor of Science in Management and Human Resources from Park University and an MBA from Webster University. She has called Leavenworth County home since 2007 and is passionate about servant leadership, collaboration, and building a stronger community where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
Teana Hundley
Board Chair
Teana Hundley serves as the Executive Vice President of Loan Origination at Citizens Federal Savings Bank, where she began her career in 2000. With more than 40 years of banking experience, all serving Leavenworth County, Kansas, she is passionate about helping families achieve the dream of homeownership.
A third generation resident of Leavenworth County, Teana has deep roots in the community and a longstanding commitment to local service. She has personally supported United Way of Leavenworth County for more than 25 years, began volunteering with the organization in 2022, and now proudly serves as Board Chair.
In addition to her work with United Way, Teana is an active community leader. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Leavenworth, Vice President of the Basehor Chamber of Commerce, a board member for Grow Leavenworth County and the Leavenworth County Development Corporation, and Past Chair of the Leavenworth-Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce.
Teana considers serving United Way of Leavenworth County both an honor and a privilege, and she is dedicated to helping strengthen the community she has proudly called home for generations.
Deb Weaverling
Board Member
Deb Weaverling brings more than 35 years of experience in human resources, finance, and nonprofit leadership. Following a career with the U.S. Civilian Service, the City of Leavenworth, and a local accounting firm, she has dedicated her retirement to serving the community through numerous civic and volunteer organizations.
A longtime member of the Leavenworth Lions Club, Deb has held leadership positions at the club, district, state, and international levels, including serving as an International Director for Lions Clubs International from 2021 to 2023. She has received numerous honors for her service, including the prestigious Ambassador of Goodwill Award, Lions Clubs International's highest recognition.
In addition to serving as Treasurer for United Way of Leavenworth County, Deb is active with the Women's Community Y, P.E.O., and other local organizations. She was honored as the Leavenworth-Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce Athena Award Business Woman of the Year in recognition of her outstanding leadership and commitment to the community.
Mike Augustine
Board Secretary
Mike Augustine serves as the President and CEO of Frontier Community Credit Union, a role he has held since 2015 after joining the organization in 2011. With more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, including community banks, large commercial banks, and credit unions, Mike specializes in lending and is passionate about helping credit challenged individuals achieve their financial goals.
Guided by the credit union philosophy of people helping people, Mike is an advocate for the credit union movement through state and federal legislative efforts and support of defense credit unions. He also dedicates much of his time to volunteering with organizations at the local, state, and national levels.
Mike is a fourth generation graduate of Kansas State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He also holds the Certified Credit Union Executive designation from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Mike and his wife, Kimberly, have been married for more than 30 years and enjoy spending time with their two children and relaxing at the lake.
Derek Wohlgemuth
Past Board Chair
Derek Wohlgemuth has served on the United Way of Leavenworth County Board of Directors since 2018. Throughout his tenure, he has served as Campaign Chair for the 2020 to 2021 campaign, Board Chair, and currently chairs the Nominating Committee.
Derek is a Vice President of Exchange Bank & Trust and serves as Branch Manager of the Lansing branch. He is also actively involved in the community as Board Chair of the Leavenworth-Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce and as a Past President of the Rotary Club of Leavenworth.
Outside of his professional and volunteer roles, Derek and his wife, Marcey, enjoy spending time with their twin daughters, Falyn and Paisley.
Justin Crutchfield
Board Member
Justin "Crutch" Crutchfield is a proud University of Saint Mary alumnus and serves as the University's Alumni Relations Manager, where he leads alumni engagement, reunion programming, and strategic giving initiatives. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Saint Mary.
Justin brings extensive experience in event planning, community engagement, and program management through his work in municipal recreation and special events. He is passionate about building meaningful relationships, strengthening alumni connections, and advancing the mission of the University of Saint Mary.
Connie Harmon
Board Member
Connie Harmon serves as the Executive Director of the Leavenworth Council on Aging, where she is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults throughout Leavenworth County. She works alongside community partners to expand access to essential services, programs, transportation, nutrition, and resources that help older adults remain active, independent, and connected.
With a passion for serving others and strengthening the community, Connie is committed to building collaborative partnerships that improve the lives of Leavenworth County residents. Her leadership and advocacy for seniors make her a valued member of the United Way of Leavenworth County Board of Directors.
Margaret Howards
Board Member
Margaret Howard is an active community volunteer and member of the Leavenworth Lions Club. She is passionate about serving others and giving back to the Leavenworth County community through volunteerism and civic engagement.
Brian Huntington
Board Member
Brian Huntington is a community volunteer and longtime supporter of United Way of Leavenworth County.
Marcia Irvine
Board Member
Marcia Irvine serves as the Director of the Pioneer Career Center for Kansas City Kansas Community College, where she provides leadership for educational and workforce development programs that prepare students for successful careers. The Pioneer Career Center serves the Leavenworth community by offering college coursework, career and technical education, GED programs, continuing education, and community enrichment opportunities.
Marcia is passionate about expanding access to education, workforce training, and lifelong learning while building strong partnerships throughout the community. Through her leadership, the Pioneer Career Center actively collaborates with local organizations, businesses, and community initiatives to support student success and strengthen Leavenworth County.
John Lavery
Board Member
John Lavery serves as the Director of Sales for MAPS, Inc., bringing more than 40 years of experience in sales, management, and business development. After owning and operating his own business for 17 years, he transitioned to corporate sales leadership, where he has spent more than two decades helping organizations identify innovative technology solutions and build lasting client relationships.
John is passionate about understanding each client's unique needs and developing creative strategies to help organizations succeed today while preparing for tomorrow's technology challenges. His collaborative approach, combined with decades of leadership experience, makes him a valuable advocate for businesses and the community alike.
Mary Mack
Board Member
Mary Mack serves as the Office Manager for the Leavenworth County Development Corporation and has been a member of the United Way of Leavenworth County Board of Directors since 2013. She holds a Master's degree in Organizational Management and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal and Social Justice.
Mary serves on the boards of several community organizations, including the Council on Aging and the Community Development Advisory Group for the City of Leavenworth. Throughout her time with United Way, she has served as both Board Chair and Campaign Chair while continuing her commitment as a board member.
In recognition of her dedication to the community, Mary has received several honors, including the Leavenworth-Lansing Area Chamber of Commerce President's Award and Humanitarian of the Year Award.
Mateo Rosales
Board Member
Mateo Rosales is a healthcare management professional with experience in business administration, operations, and organizational leadership. Through his work with MedDev, he is committed to improving healthcare services and supporting organizations that make a positive impact in their communities.
A graduate of Kansas City Kansas Community College, Mateo is passionate about community engagement and building meaningful partnerships that strengthen Leavenworth County.
Tim Vandall
Board Member
Tim Vandall has served as the City Administrator for the City of Lansing since 2015, providing leadership for the city's day to day operations and working closely with elected officials, staff, and community partners to enhance the quality of life for residents. Prior to joining Lansing, he served as City Administrator for Ellsworth, Kansas.
Originally from South Dakota, Tim earned both a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of South Dakota. He is an active member of the International City/County Management Association and the Kansas Association of City Managers, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and effective local government.
Caroline Webster
Board Member
Caroline Webster is passionate about creating opportunities for children and strengthening families throughout the community. As a lifelong military spouse and Army brat, she understands the unique experiences and challenges military families face. She and her husband, Chuck, a retired Army veteran, raised their three children while living across the United States and overseas.
Caroline serves as the Early Childhood Director at Westside Family Church, where she creates welcoming, engaging environments that help children and families thrive. With a degree in Sociology and experience supporting military families through Army programs, she is passionate about building relationships, connecting people to resources, and creating spaces where every child feels valued and supported.
Outside of her professional and volunteer roles, Caroline's greatest joy is spending time with her grandchildren as "YaYa."
Joe Wilson
Board Member
Joe Wilson is an IT professional and local business owner dedicated to strengthening families and communities across Leavenworth County. As the owner of SorWil Technology Solutions, he helps organizations improve the reliability and security of their technology, allowing them to focus on serving the people who depend on them.
Joe is committed to civic involvement and believes organizations like United Way of Leavenworth County play a vital role in building a stronger, more connected community for everyone.
